If money is the issue here, which in most cases it is, it’s best for you to stay off the air and get your creative team together and start producing programs that will influence and impact your culture. If you don’t know it by now we live in a Media-Driven culture
David said, “…I will not offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God which cost me nothing."(2 Sam.24:24) If God wants you on TV, you need to know that you are called to minister on TV. Trust that God will pay for his ministry. Don’t be cheap and try to record and edit your own programs simply just to save money, rather save your money and hire professionals who are called to carry that weight and give you results.
As representatives of the Gospel we need to deliver the message of Jesus very creatively and very effectively. I know many ministries depend on volunteers or in some cases minister expect their children to handle the TV Ministry, but there is more to producing an effective TV sermon than just pressing record and hope for the best. So please, let the creative producers do the work, and let the Ministers teach the word.
In this past year God has really put it my heart to help ministries develop programs that are aimed towards the lost more than those who are already saved. It is God’s will for us to go throughout the world and preach the good news. Understanding who you are trying to reach will help you make better decisions on what you ought to be producing for your viewers.
